I choose success

I come from a family of growers, and I believe that experience plays a major role in the success of a business. You need a feel for things: Once you get to know the plants and learn to adapt to conditions like the weather and the seasons, you can practically grow things blindfold.

“I want to get the very best out of my harvest. My cultivation supervisor and I keep up-to-date on the latest technologies, so we can get the most out of our crops. We do our utmost to achieve the highest possible yield, and a solid basis is essential. That's why our advisor suggested the Nunhems cluster tomato varieties – he’s always on the lookout for varieties that meet our production and quality standards. For me that is the Nunhems variety Foundation.

“Nunhems may be a newcomer to vine tomatoes, but they know their stuff. Their data is reliable. Their seeds do what they're supposed to, so there are no surprises. And that’s the way it should be, because there's no success and moving forward without a solid foundation.

“We had a very high yield last season. We had decided to build a new greenhouse, as production in our old house was lagging and it was too small. I want to continue to grow in this industry, so building a new greenhouse was an obvious next step. Everything went smoothly with the harvest, and even without lighting the results exceeded our expectations. Of all Nunhems growers, our yields were the highest.
