Esparto is typically very hot and humid in August. Light clothing and sun-protective gear are strongly recommended (long sleeves, hats, sun screen, etc.). It is important to stay hydrated throughout the day to avoid an heat-related illnesses.

The Kick-Off Party is an event designed to set the tone for a successful and exciting Seed Week. It is a reception hosted by BASF | Nunhems that brings together both customers and employees to mingle and get motivated for the upcoming week. The event will feature drinks and light appetizers, creating a relaxed and festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

The location of the kick-off party will be in Davis; however, the exact location is still being determined. Rest assured that it will be a memorable and fun-filled evening! 

We encourage everyone to book your visit no later than August 2nd to secure your preferred date and time to visit.

Student & Community Day aims to educate local students and community members of all ages about our company, vegetable breeding, and the role we play as a leading vegetable seed supplier.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the fascinating world of vegetable breeding, gain insights into the latest trends and innovations in the industry, and discover the important role that BASF | Nunhems plays in developing high-quality vegetable seeds.
